Postcards: Sweden

Today I received a postcard from Sweden. It came from Sälen, Dalarna, showing a green Dalahorse, winter pictures and the dogs my scanner wanted to cut off all the time -.-

The stamp is one from the Royal series. :)

Letters: Sweden. New stamps!

It's been a while and I'm sorry for my absence, but you know how life can be. Anyway. Yesterday I got a letter from Sweden with those sweet stamps on it!

Very pink-ish but damn cute nevertheless, if you ask me. :)

Incoming postcard: the Netherlands

Today I received a postcard a friend of mine sent me from the Netherlands when she was on a mini-vacation there. It's quite a shame the scan turned out so bad because it is a really cool card that is changing pictures, depending on the angle you're looking at it. So you can only see the four small pictures (I really love the owls! And you canf ind sheep on it as well! :D ) and not the big one with the landscape.

And then there was this nice stamp on it:

Mail-Mix, 100th entry and Taiwan - 3rd of february 2011

It has been a while since my last entry but I have been in somewhat mailheaven. I received two letters and one of them had an awesomely huge amount of postcards in there:

The four viewcards are showing Dalarna. Beutiful and snowy, isn't it? The Spaghetti-Operan-card is advertising for live opera with dinner. Apparently they play Mozart, whatever that has to do with Spaghetti. :D Hjärtslag is a movie advertisement. Hur stor är din värld? (How big is your world?) is advertising for newpapers.

My favourite is definitely the PUSS!-one. :) It is from a medication-company. But so cute! :D

Then my family went to a food-exhibition in Berlin and brought quite a huge pile of cards!

These are shwoing Tallinn, Estonia, which is going to be one of the cultural capital cities in 2011 now together with Turku, Finland, a card from the dinosaur park in Münchenhagen, cows (and their race is actually endangered :( ), a healthtourism card (the woman), the green card is showing biological products and the 'ehrlich' (=honest) is also for support of biological food.

Both cards with the white background are fairtrade-cards and the bright green ones are supporting tanking gas. Don't ask me for the proper English name right now :P But it is good for the environment.

The two cards showing are man are showing King Ludwig and are advertisements for a new exhibition called 'Götterdämmerung' at Schloss Herrenchiemsee. Quite sad that I live too far away from it. The other cards are showing words in Schweitzerdeutsch, spoken in Switzerland.

This card is the card from Taiwan I got. It is showing a place called Jiu Fen and the picture was taken about 40 years ago. I love pictures like that. They create a certain feeling.

The stamp is a commemorative stamp to the 100th birthday of the president Chiang Ching-Kuo (1910-1988) and it was issued in 2009.

Last but not least I got a letter from my dear penfriend from Finland and it had the following stamp on it.

So this was it, blog-entry 100. Yay! :D

More and more Christmas mail... or?

Today I received a package and a big letter from Finland (both from two different Finnish girls) and I sitll wonder if it is Christmas mail that didn't arrive on time or if it is birthday mail already? Good question... I'm still hoping I can resist opening them (in case it is birthday mail :D ).

The other two cards came for Christmas, definitely. One (the one on the right) is from my boyfriend's family from Sweden and I would call it adorable. :) The other one on the right is from a friend here from Germany.

Happy new year everybody!

Airport nights

My dear boyfriend got stuck at the airport in Munich last Monday and then he decided sending me this card. He wrote it on the plane he had to change to in about 10.000 metres hight. Cool, ain't it?

On the card was this stamp, showing the big dinosaur at the Naturkundemuseum in Berlin. I loved it when I was a kid! The museum is, according to the stamp, 200 years old already.

Vad vill du upptäcka?

What do you want to discover?

I received this card and a letter (both with the stamp below) from the wonderful A pic a week's owner. It really made my day!

Sorry for the bad quality on the pictures, but I had no time to scan today. -.-

Plus
Outgoing: 1 postcard

And weeee! Another reader! Hello, Deborah!

I so know what you mean...

... says the bear on the right side. This card came from a friend from Germany (= here :D ). Isn't that cute? She said I was the stone and she was the bear, due to my supermassive use of different languages.

On the stamp you can btw see one of Germany's most famous writers, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff.

Today I received a wonderful letter from Sweden again. The stamp on it is showing Läckö slott. Isn't that a nice one? :)

Letters: Sweden. Another new stamp!

Hey everybody!

Sorry for the long time off but I took my duckies from the Ducks in dungeons-blog for a little walk. :)
When I came home I found a letter from Sweden on my desk. There I found a new stamp on it (or rather: the stamp that went missing on the letter before).

Letters: Sweden

Today I received another lovely and touching letter from Sweden! It's just so heart-warming to read those lines as soon as I get them :)

This is one of the stamps that was on there, again it's the royal wedding's sign. The second stamp got missing on the way. Or somenody stole it because it's shiny! :P Anyway... you can still see where it should have been... hmmm :P

Letters: Sweden. And brand new stamps!

Incoming

This letter came, as mentioned with the stamps, yesterday already. It's so cute :)

Then I also went to the postoffice to buy new stamps. Gooosh I love them! Underneath the stamps you see the letter that is going to go out today (or latest tomorrow, depending on the time I have).

Don't you just have to love those stamps? :)

And please feel free to check out my new, second blog: Ducks in dungeons!
